Formentera is known for its heavenly beaches of fine white sand, but there is another paradise hidden under those waters, just waiting to be discovered.
Thanks to the Posidonia Oceánica meadows, the characteristically tranquil and clear island waters make Formentera a perfect location for fans of diving and underwater photography, as it offers magnificent vision at considerable distance and depth.

SCUBA DIVING BAPTISM
The island provides the perfect environment and conditions for starting out in the world of diving, giving beginners the chance to carry out their first dive directly in the sea, surrounded by stunning environments such as the Es Freus Marine Reserve. For more experienced divers that wish to find out more about the world of diving, courses at the Formentera diving schools range from basic to more specialised.

COURSES
PADI Open Water Diver · Scuba Diver · Advanced Open Water Diver · Rescue Diver · Dive Master · Photography course · Specialist courses: subaquatic naturalist, deep-sea diving, nitrox, EFR... Also PADI Bubblemaker: a great way of introducing children of 8 and up to diving at 2 metres of depth, always closely supervised by a PADI instructor.
