This complex, built during the Spanish Civil War, was used to store fuel and supply the seaplanes that operated in the area. The fuel tank, made of steel plates, is protected by a solid structure designed to withstand possible bombing. Its entrances lead inside through zigzag corridors, also conceived as a protective measure. A few metres away stands the seaplane jetty, with a ramp that helped the aircraft in and out of the water and various fittings once used to moor them. It lies in the north of the island, beside the estany Pudent and the road from Sant Ferran to La Savina, within the ses Salines Natural Park.
