The "Ajuntament Vell" Municipal Exhibition Hall, managed by the Formentera Island Council, occupies the Plaça de la Constitució in Sant Francesc Xavier, in the heart of the historic center next to the fortified church. It hosts temporary exhibitions by local and international artists and groups—painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, and crafts—and has established itself as a leading art space on the island.
