Daardoor is het lastiger en duurder om er te komen. De deugden van Formentera \u2013 de voortreffelijke instandhouding en de rust \u2013 zijn echter in hoge mate te danken aan deze afzondering.<\/p>\n<p>Formentera is te bereiken via het eiland Ibiza. U kunt daar komen per vliegtuig of per schip vanuit diverse Spaanse havens: Valencia, Denia en Barcelona. In het hoogseizoen verbindt de rederij <a href=\"http:\/\/www.balearia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Balearia<\/a> de havens van Denia en Formentera rechtstreeks met elkaar.<\/p>\n<p>Eenmaal op Ibiza zijn er diverse rederijen die alle dagen van de week met een verschillende dienstregeling (naargelang het seizoen) het traject afleggen naar de haven van La Savina, de enige plaats via welke men het eiland kan binnenkomen en verlaten.
