On the north coast of Formentera, between Llevant beach<\/b> and Punta Prima<\/b>, you can find the small town of Es Pujols, a town that has no parish but that over the years has grown to become the main tourist area of Formentera.<\/h3>\n

It is very easy to find; just follow the road that borders Estany Pudent or take the turn-off to the north in the village of Sant Ferran.<\/p>\n

When you get to this town it is easy to see that tourism is its main driving force. Here the choice of hotels is extremely varied, adapting to all different tastes. The restaurants are another of its main attractions; there are all different kinds, from those serving local dishes to restaurants offering international cuisine. The ones with the most privileged position are those whose terrace overlooks the sea.<\/p>\n

The nightlife is another of Es Pujols’ strong points, with a great atmosphere for enjoying an after-dinner drink. Pubs and bars abound in the streets of the interior of the town and you can also find a small discotheque to round of the evening with a dance. A lively atmosphere that does not detract from the peace and quiet of the island.<\/p>\n

Other businesses that make Es Pujols an attractive place to visit are the shops and boutiques with a special focus on summer fashion. But when it comes to shopping, the main attraction is a lively flea market that entertains visitors during the summer evenings and nights; the perfect place to indulge your whims buying sandals, handmade jewellery, bathing suits with original prints or a wreath of flowers with which to imbue yourself with the island’s hippie spirit.<\/p>\n

Finally, it is necessary to mention the main attraction that has led to the tourist development of this area, i.e. the only urban beach on the island. Es Pujols has a beautiful white sandy beach with turquoise waters, in the shape of a shell, scattered with tiny islets, small stretches of rock and boathouses, features of its traditional fishing past. Here people and nature live in total harmony thanks to the wonderful promenade perfect for taking a stroll while contemplating the sea or deciding which restaurant to spend the evening in. In short, Pujols has everything you could want for a pleasant stay on Formentera.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]
