Two beaches with all the high standards of the coast of Formentera<\/h2>\n

Es Pujols is one of the most important tourist centres on the island, but the key to its success can probably be found in its magnificent Des Pujols beach<\/b>, a wide sandy strip covering 690 metres of coastline backing on to the promenade.<\/h3>\n

To the west it communicates with the Llevant beach of the Trucadors peninsula while the cliffs of Punta Prima<\/b> form a natural border to the west.<\/p>\n

Being an urban beach, surprisingly it maintains the same beauty as the rest of the island’s beaches, the predominance of clear turquoise waters and white sand being its main attraction. In addition, it has the advantage of offering all kinds of services for a perfect day at the beach. Here you can find typical Italian restaurants, hamburger joints, cafeterias and even ice cream parlours, as well as chemists, boutiques, supermarkets and souvenir stalls.<\/p>\n

One of the outstanding features of this beach are its views to the north, with a multitude of small islands dotting the horizon. It also alternates stretches of sand with rocky areas, where the typical boathouses (escars) are located, giving a picturesque touch to the landscape.<\/p>\n

If you follow the coast to the west, it gradually veers eastwards, and after just 10 minutes you will find another adjacent beach known as Sa Roqueta<\/b>. Its isolated location makes it a relatively unfrequented place with little overcrowding, although the prevailing east winds in summer cause a slight swell on its shore. Here the dunes serve as a border between the beach and the Estany Pudent, on whose road you can find the turn-off to this beach shortly before reaching the village of Des Pujols coming from the direction of the port of Sa Savina.<\/p>\n

Despite not being the most popular destination for travellers, this coastline is a great choice for those who seek the peace and quiet of its eastern side or, on the contrary, prefer easy access and the option of enjoying all the services without renouncing the quality of Formentera’s coastline.<\/p>\n
