Disembarking in Formentera is synonymous with peace and tranquillity. This unique sensation of living without haste is further enhanced if you opt for getting to know the island on foot or by bicycle.<\/h3>\n

Doing so allows you to visit places that are invisible from the road, view the island from another perspective and get to know the most natural and authentic Formentera in the most environmentally friendly way.<\/p>\n

Formentera has 32 multipurpose routes that can be explored on foot, by Nordic Walking<\/b> or by bicycle. These 32 green routes<\/b> (inaugurated in 2015) are a network of more than 100 kilometres<\/b> of paths, most of them accessible by bicycle.<\/p>\n

In our catalogue of green routes<\/b><\/a>, we present a summary of each one with the main points of interest, geographical data and natural or cultural value.<\/p>\n

Nordic Walking is one of the most highly recommended sports nowadays due to its simplicity and effectiveness. During the off-season period, the necessary equipment for Nordic walking<\/strong> (walking sticks) is available at the tourist information office in Sant Francesc for visitors who request it.<\/p>\n

For bicycle lovers, the island offers the comfort of having a practically flat terrain, which is why we recommend their use, as well as the fact that by doing so you will be contributing to the conservation of the environment.<\/p>\n
