Plunge into the clear turquoise waters of Formentera<\/h2>\n

Formentera is known for its paradisiacal beaches of fine white sand, but there is another paradise hidden beneath its waters waiting to be discovered.<\/h3>\n

The island’s typical calm clear waters, with their Posidonia Oceanica<\/b> meadows, make Formentera the perfect place for lovers of scuba diving and underwater photography, as they allow an exceptional view at a considerable distance and depth.<\/p>\n

Scuba Diving Baptism<\/b>: The island offers the perfect environment and conditions to begin diving, giving beginners the opportunity to take the plunge directly into the sea and explore environments as paradisiacal as the Es Freus Marine Reserve.<\/p>\n

And for those who, having made their first dive, want to continue enjoying the world of scuba diving, Formentera’s diving schools offer courses ranging from the most elementary to the most advanced.<\/p>\n

Courses<\/b>: PADI Open Water Diver – Scuba Diver – Advanced Open Water Diver – Rescue Diver – Dive Master – Photography courses – Specialty courses: underwater naturalist, deep diving, nitrox, EFR, etc.<\/p>\n

And there is also the PADI Bubblemaker, a great way to introduce children aged 8 and over into the world of diving at a depth of about 2 metres, always closely supervised by a PADI instructor.<\/p>\n

Snorkelling<\/b>: This modality allows you to reach the most remote places on the island and explore them with just a pair of goggles, a snorkel and flippers. Formentera is known for its white sandy seabed but also has spectacular rocky sea floors that are home to a rich and varied flora and fauna.<\/p>\n
