[vc_row][vc_column width=”8\/12″][vc_column_text]This is your third option for reaching the Es Cap Lighthouse and the Es Garroveret watchtower<\/a>. The route runs through Es Mal Pas, a natural area surrounded by junipers and pines, which zig-zags through dry stone walls. Soon after you set off you’ll cross the Torrent de S’Alga, a flash flood gully that drains rainwater away to the sea. This is a very special place, with old dry docks that have been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. Fish are hung out to dry in the sun on the bare branches of the junipers and then used to make a local dish known as “peix sec”. You will also be able to enjoy an amazing panoramic view over La Mola and the Migjorn coast.<\/p>\n

The route runs southwards until it reaches the road, which you will cross, taking the old path towards Es Cap through typical countryside. White houses with small blue and green windows, little stone walls, fig trees, vineyards, goats and sheep. The final stretch, by road, will take you to the Es Cap de Barbaria lighthouse and watchtower to the left, after going through some prehistoric remains.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”4\/12″][vc_column_text]
