The diving centres were opened in 1995 and are located inside the Club Hotel Formentera Playa and Club Maryland, both belonging to the Insotel group. They are located directly on the beach and are open from april to october under the supervision of Luca Farnioli (PADI Master Instructor, Barakuda-CMAS Instructor **, Fipsas-CMAS Instructor *) supported by a staff of divemasters and instructors. The diving centres are equipped with 3 diving boats (one for 20, one for 15 and one for 8 divers), 3 compressors of 16.000 l/h, 30 full equipments and 60 tanks.
