Formentera has public transport services all year round, reinforced during the summer. There are regular bus routes between all population centres and tourist centres, as well as to the island's main beaches.

There are also taxi services, with taxi ranks at the port of La Sabina and in all the urban centres; one of the taxis is adapted for disabled people. There is also a private water taxi service for boat journeys between Ibiza and Formentera
